Pre-requisites

If you haven’t already, we recommend completing the Voiceflow Basics course before taking this one. Voiceflow Basics will teach you the fundamental skills you need to know to build AI agents with Voiceflow. This course builds on top of those skills, letting you build a real-world support agent.

No programming knowledge is required to complete this course.

Hey, I’m Jacklyn. I lead Developer Relations here at Voiceflow, and in this course, I’m going to teach you how to build your first AI-powered support agent. The skills you learn in this course are applicable to a bunch of different types of agent - you could build a web-based chat agent that answers queries for an online retailer, a phone agent for a brick-and-mortar business, or something else entirely.

We’re gonna keep this course really focused on using Voiceflow’s knowledge base and answering user questions, but, at the end of it, I’ll share some resources so you can give your agent super-powers. For example, connecting it to Zendesk to automatically create tickets, or to Slack, so your team can see the queries that the agent couldn’t answer.
